This project examined current teaching practice in bioscience disciplines in Australian universities, to identify innovative approaches used by educators to enhance the scientific inquiry skills of their students. The role of educational technologies in supporting the development of skills was a particular focus of the project.
This is a collaborative project, which brings together team members from four major Australian universities: The University of Melbourne, Monash University, La Trobe University and The University of Queensland. It commenced in July 2008.
New publication Teaching scientific inquiry skills: A handbook for bioscience educators in Australian universities is now available to download. Details
